My mother in law told me my immersion blender was a waste of money. Made soup tonight and it paid for itself in 5 minutes.

Why do people always have an opinion on how you spend your own money? Glad the soup turned out good, that's all that really matters.

Gotta love how everyone's got a take on your wallet like it's public property lol. Meanwhile I'm over here spending $40 on takeout just so I don't have to wash a single dish.

It's like the second you decide something for yourself everyone else suddenly has a say... I've noticed it's not even about money anymore, it's about how you choose to spend your time too. Like @finleyl39 said, people act like your life choices are up for debate just 'cause they wouldn't do it the same way. At the end of the day it's your bowl of soup or your takeout, not theirs. We all just gotta get through the week somehow.
