Rant: My neighbor said to just pressure wash my driveway instead of resealing it
Took me two days and blew a hole in the concrete, so now I'm paying $400 for a patch job - has anyone else had a neighbor's cheap fix backfire like that?

Got a buddy who tried pressure washing his old brick patio on a whim, same kind of cheap fix mindset. Ended up gouging a big rut right down the middle where the mortar was weak and the bricks popped loose. He called me all pissed off and I had to laugh because @the_sam it's exactly like your reaction - who thinks a pressure washer can blow a hole through solid concrete? Turns out his neighbor's advice was garbage and now he's stuck replacing half his patio.
