My organic berry habit might not be as eco-friendly as I thought...
I always pick organic fruits thinking they're better for the planet... you know, less chemicals and all. But I read an article last month that said some organic farms use just as much energy and stuff as regular ones. It got me looking at where my food comes from. I noticed my organic berries were flown in from another country, which adds a lot of carbon to the air. So even if the farming is green, the travel isn't. Now I feel tricked by the label. Has anyone else found that 'organic' doesn't always equal sustainable?
