inPro tip: Overheard a guy at the supply yard say he adds a cup of sugar to his wash water on hot days
That sugar trick @margaretramirez mentioned is one of those old-timer hacks. You see it everywhere once you look. People in every trade have a weird little fix like that. A plumber I know uses dish soap in his flux. Just a tiny bit of something ordinary to solve a specific problem.

inI finally understood what 'deconstructed' meant after a weird chat at a fabric store in Boise.
Oh totally, that's the best kind of creative spark! It's like someone hands you a key to a door you didn't even know was locked. My neighbor once muttered about her "sad looking" hydrangea bush, and it somehow made me completely rethink the color palette for a painting I was stuck on. Those little outside thoughts just short-circuit our own overthinking.

inA client in Austin told me my finish was too perfect and it changed my whole approach
Ugh, @claire_grant34, that's how you ruin a priceless antique.

inMy boss wants us back in the office full-time, and I'm thinking about the carbon cost.
Yeah, saw a report last week about how remote work cuts emissions big time. @noah872's friend's boss gets it!
