inDisposal fees on a recent job have me re-evaluating our carpet choices.
Yeah, @adamwebb, those surprise fees are the worst. I found a nonprofit that takes old carpet for free and turns it into insulation.

inMy neighbor believed I could just 'scoop' his fallen tree with my crane. Had to break it to him GENTLY.
Watched a friend once try to lift a log with his tractor. He totally missed the center of gravity and it rolled sideways, nearly crushing his fence. Had to explain load points to him after that, lol.

inEpoxy bubbles ruining my scrap wood bar top project
Damn, epoxy bubbles are the worst. I read that mixing too fast or high humidity causes them. A propane torch on low, waved quick, pops bubbles better than a heat gun. @the_kevin isn't wrong about heat gun risks, but a torch takes practice. Pour thin layers and torch each one to avoid trapped air. Try it on scrap first.

inTold a restoration crew that vinyl gloves mess up handling old glass
Nathan's bare hands tip has me shook. I mean, running fingers over glass without gloves sounds crazy to me. Idk, maybe it's just me but that seems super risky after Blair mentioned razor edges. I get that gloves might hide some flaws, but cutting yourself isn't worth it. I've seen people get bad cuts from less, so I'm always team gloves or cotton balls. Just feels like playing with fire, you know?

inSerious question, phone acting up near towers made me rethink 5G fears
Why do we always blame the newest thing first? Phones heat up when they struggle to get a signal, no matter if it's 4G or 5G. That tower was probably just in a tough spot for reception. It's wild how a simple test with an old phone can shut down a whole fear. Shows we should check the basics before believing the scary stories.
