Rant: My dimension strings keep breaking when I plot to PDF

Found that setting the linetype scale to 1 before plotting keeps everything intact.

Plotting to PDF feels like trying to please a tiny, angry god living in your computer. You have to give it the exact right setting, like linetype scale at 1, or everything falls apart. And even then, as reesel59 said, it doesn't always work, which just adds to the fun. It's like the software knows when you're on a deadline and decides to act up. These weird habits just become part of the job after a while.

Wait, the linetype scale has to be exactly one? That's the magic number?

It's like my car only starts if I tap the radio twice, just weird tech rituals everywhere.

That setting doesn't always work for me.

My coffee maker's timer fails if the power flickers. I see this a lot with settings that need just the right conditions to work.
