My steamer gave out mid-facial yesterday and I had to improvise
I was halfway through a hydrating facial with a regular client when the steamer just shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I checked the water level and the plug, but it was totally dead. I had to quickly switch gears and use a warm, damp towel tent over her face for the rest of the treatment to keep the pores open. It worked okay, but the flow of the service was definitely thrown off. What's a good backup method you all keep ready for equipment fails?
