Pro tip: I asked a question about a specific tool and got a totally wrong answer.

Ugh, that's rough. Honestly though, even some paid tools have sketchy data sometimes.

Serious question, has anyone else had a reviewer completely miss the point of a tool?

Totally agree. I used to get mad at apps for being slow until I started blocking out time for deep work on my calendar. Now when I miss a deadline, I know it's because I didn't stick to my own plan, not because the software failed. It's a tough habit to build but it changes everything. You stop looking for a perfect tool and start fixing your own process.

My new bullet journal is bleeding through the pages

Actually the bleed through can be a useful feature. It lets you see your layout ideas from the previous page as a faint guide, saves you having to redraw it.

Had a weird intermittent fault on a G1000 system last month that only showed up above 10,000 feet.

Altitude bugs are the worst, had a similar gremlin in a 172 that would knock out the air data computer right around eight thousand. Took three flights to even get it to show up for the mechanic. Turned out to be a tiny crack in a static line that only opened up when it got real cold.

I just hit 50 lines of code that actually worked on the first try

I once had a whole script run perfectly on the first go, and it felt so wrong I spent an hour looking for bugs that weren't there. That kind of luck is almost a curse because you know it'll never happen again. It makes you question reality more than when your usual code falls apart in five different ways. You just sit there waiting for the other shoe to drop.
