Remember when everyone used to say you had to use floral foam for everything?

Honestly, I tried doing a whole wedding arch last summer without any foam, just chicken wire and moss. Tbh, it held up way better in the heat and the cleanup was a breeze. Has anyone else moved away from foam for certain pieces?

Tried telling my florist that and she looked at me like I grew a second head.

Ever think about the cost of just keeping flowers alive before they even get arranged? Like aaron_perry said, the work is one thing, but the flowers themselves are crazy fragile and need constant care. They're shipping them in special trucks, storing them in perfect coolers, and throwing out tons that don't make it. That waste gets baked into the price of the ones that do. So when you buy a bouquet, you're paying for all the ones that died along the way too.

Used to be in the same boat until I saw how much work goes into a bouquet. Makes you see the price tag differently, right?
