inWhy I disagree with ditching hand sketches for CAD
Remember my friend who, like @murphy.margaret's buddy, finally printed his code to spot the bug.

inShowerthought: I always figured paint samples were a waste until my whole room turned out a weird shade of green.
Last year, I picked a color called 'Sea Mist' that looked perfect on the tiny card. I was so confident I skipped testing and painted the whole hallway. It dried into this weird hospital green that made me feel queasy just walking past. My buddy came over and asked if I was trying to match the color of old broccoli. Now I tape up those samples and stare at them for days like they're going to tell me the meaning of life.

inBoss drama is wrecking my deadlift groove
In my office gym last year, I actually saw someone joke about deadlifting a dummy labeled with the boss's name. It was a weird way to blow off steam, but it got me thinking about the real weight we carry at work. @lucasscott hit the nail on the head with setting limits, which is like mental deadlifting, you know? Sometimes you gotta face the heavy stuff directly, just like picking up a barbell (if you avoid it, the weight just sits there crushing you). I've found that speaking up early, before things pile up, makes the lift way easier. It's not about real lifting, but that same idea of tackling what's in front of you, even if it's your boss's demands.
