inJust hit 500 pours on the new green sand line without a single cold shut
Honestly that's so spot on. Tbh we saw the exact same thing after swapping out some worn rollers on our casting line. The noise drop was crazy, you could actually hear yourself think again. Ngl it's wild how one little worn part can throw off the whole vibe of a line like that. Makes you wonder what else we're just putting up with because it's always been that way.

inHad to lift a generator onto a rooftop in Tacoma with a 20-ton crane and a tight swing.
Had my guy on the ground call out gusts before they hit, which saved our bacon. Maybe try that next time, @elliotm57, instead of just hoping for a steadier hand.

inMy professor told me to ignore the protestors, that they'd just be loud and move on
My last apartment had a slow drip under the kitchen sink for months. The super kept saying it was condensation. Ended up with a huge mold patch and a collapsed cabinet. Sometimes the small stuff is a real warning sign.

inHeard a new guy at the shop in Billings say 'it's just a fuel line' and the lead tech shut him down hard. Made me think about how we talk to apprentices.
Oh man, "it's just a fuel line" is the kind of thing that gets your ears boxed. I saw an apprentice call a brake line "just a tube" once and the foreman made him hand-flare like twenty practice lines. It's all about respect for the craft, you know? Gotta learn that every single part on the vehicle is there for a reason. That lead tech was right to shut it down.

inI thought paying off a card early would always help my score, but my report said otherwise
Nah, my score always goes up when I pay early.
