Seeing @cole_flores44's comment reminded me of my aunt's cold cream habit. She had this whole ritual with a warm washcloth that felt really deliberate. I kind of miss that level of care, where stuff wasn't just about rushing through.

Didn't we all think cabling was the safe choice, just postponing the problem instead of fixing it?

Hearing that reheated salmon gets rubbery makes me question your whole meal prep. Mine comes out of the fridge fine, still flaky and moist, not some tough piece of rubber. Are you maybe cooking it too long the first time or storing it wrong? Tbh my lemon pepper salmon still tastes great cold right from the container two days later.
